Situated in the heart of this beautiful and historic town on the river and close to the sea. It is easy to get about on foot to access all shops, pubs and restaurants. Ideal for a relaxing break, and great for visiting the East Kent coastline. Next door to ‘Goats that Dance’ coffee shop and opposite the stunningly beautiful St Peter’s Church.
Sandwich is one of the most perfect examples of a medieval town in the UK. Situated on the river Stour, it has everything you need in close proximity. So much so you can leave your car behind! Sandwich is full of lovely walks, restaurants and pubs. It is also about a 5 minute drive from the nearest beach at Sandwich Bay. It is also close to Deal, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Canterbury.
You can walk to Sandwich station in less than 10 minutes walk away and it’s only 3 minutes to the main bus stop. The high speed train goes into London in 1 hour 20 minutes. There is no parking at the house though there is some on the road parking. However, we supply a free pass to park in any of the three large local car-parks plus some on-street parking.
