The Coach House is a converted stable block situated beside a traditional English pub, The Haywain. The Haywain is situated in the heart of the picturesque East Kent countryside, on the A257 between Littlebourne & Wingham, with a conveniently located bus stop on the main Canterbury to Sandwich & Deal bus routes. We have a large beer garden where we regularly stage events and there is plenty of off-road parking. The Coach House itself is light and airy and serves as an ideal base to explore the Kent countryside and all it has to offer. There are wildlife parks, medieval towns and cities along with Cathedrals and castles. The usual shops bars and restaurants can be found too for those who prefer a bit more life away from the history! There really is something for everyone. We’re even a short hop from France via the Eurotunnel or Ferry so why not have a day trip to stock up?
About Bramling
We have a bus stop just across the road from us so if you don’t drive or fancy exploring without your car, just hop on and off you go. There are many walks you can take from the cottage itself into the countryside. Ten minutes takes you into the Cathedral city of Canterbury, 20 minutes in the other direction is Dover with it’s famous white cliffs and Castle with incredible war tunnels.
